August Action 2002:

For the week ending 8/04/02 - The waters off Guatemala's pacfic side where very like glass. We at the Great Sailfishing Company had two groups fishing and they returned very happy with the results.

8/02/02 The La Gipsy released 6 sails and caught 14 Dorados.

8/03/02 The Man of War released 10 sails and the La Chesito released 9 sails and caught 16 Dorados. Note: The Man of War group only wanted to catch sailfish.

8/04/02 The group on the Man of War took their flyfishing equip. and released three sails ON THE FLY!!

July action 2002:

July 26th The La Piragua 31' Bertram raised 10 Sails and caught 35 Dorados (they filled 3 coolers with fresh fish).

July 24th After a couple of days of bad weather and fishing two boats were out, the artmaina boat raised 9sails. The La piragua 31' Bertram raised 7 Sails, one Marlin and caught 17 Dorados.

July 21st The La Gipsy 32' Blackfin raised 2 Sails and caught 35 Dorados. The La Chesito 29' Luhrs raised 4 Sails, caught 13 Dorados and returned to dock after 5 hours. The weather was turning stormy.

July 20th The La Gipsy 32' Blackfin raised 8 Sails, cought 16 Dorados and one Tuna. The La Chesito raised 4 Sails and caught 30 Dorados.

July 18th The owners of the La Piragua went out 50 miles for Yellowfin Tuna. They caught 7 Med. tuna (about 30 lbs. each) and released 5 sails.

July 13th La Gipsy released 8 sails, one 300+lb. marlin and brought home 8 dorados.

July 6th La Full Circle returned home early after releasing 16 sails and brought home 20 dorados.
