Description: The Ancient City Game Fish Association (ACGFA) was organized in 1958. We currently have 83 Family Members, 69 Single Members, and 3 Lifetime Members. The purposes of this organization are to promote the sport of fishing in this area and do whatever is in our power to improve fishing grounds and facilities in the area. The ACGFA is very family oriented. We have annual fishing awards for Boats-of-the-Year (inshore and offshore) and Anglers-of-the-Year (Men, Women, Junior (age 9 to 16) and Small-fry (8 and under). In addition, there are fishing tournaments for various species almost every month as well as two fish fry/cook-out events, a Christmas Party for the family, and the End of Year Awards/Membership Dinner.
