We were honoured to welcome the new President of Guatemala to Greatsailfishing recently. While the fishing trip did not raise our normal and recent productivity for sailfish, he was very happy to fill a cooler with Dorado and Tuna.
President Perez Molina was not able to spend the whole day fishing in Guatemala, and so we remained closer to shore, hoping to raise sailfish in the temperature breaks or around bait. Most billfishing this past week was out around 40 miles from shore, so we did not have tiume to Take President Perez Molina that far in pursuit of billfish – but we all had a great day and enjoyed meeting and fishing with him.
